GRAFTON – Evelyn Rose Gibree 89, passed away Wednesday August 6, 2012 at her sons residence in Lawrenceville GA. She is survived by her two sons Arthur William Gibree and his wife Bianca of Lawrenceville GA. & Paul Kevin Gibree and his wife Joyce of Northbridge MA., two grandsons Mark Allen & Steven Paul Gibree, and one great grandson Brian Nicholas Gibree. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Walter W. Gibree in 2010 and her 3 brothers Arthur Edward, Robert Edgar and Wallace Roy Mayo. Born (Mary) Evelyn Rose Mayo in Saundersville Village in South Grafton MA on July 5, 1922 the daughter of the late Edward Mayo and Emma King. She lived in Grafton MA for most of her life before moving to FL with her husband in 1981 were she continued to work for many years as a Retail Service Manager. She graduated from the Grafton Public School system with the class of 1941 and later attended Worcester Girls Trade High School and she was a longtime parishioner of St. James Church in South Grafton.
Mass & Calling Hours
The funeral will be Monday August 13th with people gathering at 9 am at The Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton followed by the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 10 am in St. James Church 89 Main St. (Rt. 122A) in South Grafton. She will then be laid to rest with her husband in Fairview Cemetery. All are invited to calling hours Sunday August 12th from 6 to 8 pm at The Roney Funeral Home.
