GRAFTON: Iva (Enman) Knowlton, 94, passed away February 26, 2010. Her husband of 65 years Marshall Knowlton passed in 2003. She is survived by her son Lee and his wife Pat of Grafton, two daughters, Marsha Steinberg and her husband Richard of Mashpee, Beth Klocek and her husband Ronald of Sutton, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Mrs. Knowlton was born July 26, 1915 in Westborough the daughter of the late Ernest Lee Enman and Ella (Burhoe) Enman and was also predeceased by her sister Vera Burke and brother Norman Enman. She was a graduate of Westborough High School and Fairchild Office School which became Salter Secretarial School and she had worked at People�s Savings Bank in Worcester prior to her marriage to Mr. Knowlton. Iva was a member of The Evangelical Congregational Church of Grafton, The Friends of The Grafton Library, The North Grafton Women�s Club and she enjoyed music, crossword puzzles and reading. Iva�s family wishes to extend sincere thanks to all the agencies and people who cared for her during her final years.Mmorial donations may be made in her name to : The Grafton Food Bank 30 Providence Rd. Grafton MA 01519 in lieu of flowers.
Funeral & Visitation
Family and close friends will gather Tuesday March 2nd in The Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. in North Grafton from 2 to 4 pm with a Funeral service at 3:30 pm.
