Dear Jordan Family,
I am so sad to hear of Mr. Jordan's passing. I grew up with him always being the fun, friendly fellow in our neighborhood. I recall how much joy he brought to us as young kids when he would pull us around the park with his snowmobile. He always had a funny story and a kind word when we saw him, even when we were rambunctious teens many years later. When Mrs. Jordan went to the nursing home, I used to see them both there when my husband and I would visit his Grammy. (That is when he began to insist I call him Charlie and not Mr. Jordan). I always enjoyed talking with them both, they were wonderful people.

I am sorry I cannot make it to your service.

But please know that you will never be far from my mind and I will try my best to live with the same happiness, humility, and love that you always faced the world with.

I can’t thank you enough for everything you taught me and all of the wonderful conversations we had about wildlife, music, politics, baseball, and life. You truly are an amazing person and I am proud to be your grandson. I miss you and I always will.

My dear brother, I will miss our Sunday talks about growing up on the farm, what wonderful chats we had. You and Mom are now at peace. While my heart is heavy, I will miss you.
